Suğla Drainage Pumping Station, one of Konya’s important irrigation facilities, will now meet its energy needs from a Solar Power Plant (SPP).
Construction of the Solar Power Plant, which began in January 2025, has been completed and the facility has started generating electricity.
Congratulations.
The plant, installed on a total area of 9,000 square meters, includes 1,310 solar panels. With an installed capacity of 720.5 kWp, the facility is expected to generate 1.2 million kWh of electricity annually.
Suğla SPP will both reduce energy costs and contribute to sustainable energy with its environmentally friendly structure.
